Not everyone can expect to know what Bouts is about, let alone what it represents. This is why enlightenment on a project is important. A bout is a fight that takes place in both boxing or MMA. Bouts is a mobile web application that allows fans around the world to place bets and stay up to date on their favorite MMA Fighters. Fans can win their "bouts" without stepping foot in the octagon.

The concept, Bouts is a personal project of mine that I came up with in the beginning of 2017 for the Mixed Martial Arts Community. The idea is to be able to come to a place where you can check up on the latest news in MMA, seeing the results of fights, future fight match ups and being able to potentially win some money. All of this under one platform.
The UFC, owned by WME and Bellator MMA, owned by Viacom, are the two largest MMA Companies to date. Currently these two companies offer a stage for thousands of Male and Female MMA Fighters. In this sport, the UFC is considered to have the superior talent, with Bellator being the runner up.
What if people no longer had to use multiple sources of information to get their fight news? Try to come up with a solution that supports up to three forms of payments that will allow MMA Fans and casuals to get their reliable MMA news, place bets and cash checks.
Sports betting is the activity of predicting sports results and placing a wager on the outcome. Usually the wager is in the form of money. In this case, Bouts currently deals strictly with USD, Bitcoin and Litecoin payments only. Users can place a bet on a fighter with a risk vs reward format. Whoever has the highest odds is considered the "favorite." If the odds are low, it means that event is not likely to occur. Always remember that the lower the odds, the higher your potential reward.
Making assumptions about what users want is definitely not the best route to take. It is very important to understand exactly what the user's want. The people who participate in online gambling are usually fans of Mixed Martial Arts. It is crucial to get to know the users who are using similar products today.
Finding articles on different websites reporting something that might not be true.
I would like to be the best fighter in the world and have people eventually betting on me!
Forums and articles that do not provide accurate, reliable details of fighter news. Also misguiding for those who want to learn new things.
I would like to have an easy straight forward app that provides less confusion into betting.
When there is just too much going on in a single page. I like a website with some structure to it and that isn't too overwhelming.
To bring all the MMA gamblers together and keep them updated on the most recent news.
This part was very important for my learning process about online gambling. I wanted to see what a few companies have been doing so that I can see what works and what doesn't. Currently, there are quite a few gambling websites out there, but not many that provide news as well.

Creating the rough sketches enables me to get my ideas in my head down on paper. This is very important for me to do because sometimes ideas can be forgotten. This makes it much easier for when I bring it into design programs for it allows me to work efficiently.
Another important aspect of the design process is creating low fidelity wire-frames. This allows me to get the structure of a project in my design programs without having to worry much about colors, typography or the final touches quite yet... I have found wireframes to allow me to become very efficient throughout my process.
This is the part of the design process where the visual design is completed. This is where I find out my visual design languages, solidify my desired color scheme, typography, iconography and the overall look and feel of the project. This is what the users will be seeing on a daily basis.
